It is a story of metamorphosis, in which disastrous events create disillusionment, resulting in violence and resentment. The Duttas – Sudhamoy, Kironmoyee, and lajja by taslima nasrin in two children, Suranjan and Maya – have lived in Bangladesh all their lives.
